Application of UV laser marking machine in medical field
Forwaylaser, a leading manufacturer of laser marking, automation, and vision inspection equipment, recently partnered with U.S. pharmaceutical expert Mr. Romanenko on an advanced medical project: precision marking of blood transfusion tubes using ultraviolet (UV) laser technology with a rotating axis system.
Marking blood transfusion tubes requires exceptional precision and minimal thermal impact to ensure structural integrity and biocompatibility—standards that traditional methods struggle to meet. Our UV laser, often referred to as a “cold laser,” offers high-resolution marking with virtually no heat-affected zones, making it ideal for such sensitive applications.
To achieve uniform, high-quality marking on the curved surface of each tube, we integrated a rotating axis into the UV laser system. This allows for 360-degree marking of essential information such as lot numbers and serial codes, ensuring clarity, permanence, and full traceability.
As part of our end-to-end service model, Forwaylaser provided complete support—from concept design to equipment manufacturing, automation integration, and final implementation, including advanced vision inspection systems for quality assurance.
